This event marks our fifth East Midlands Connections Networking event. Business-Scene regularly run successful Connections events around the UK, bringing together many of the local Business Networking groups under one roof, and offering a great opportunity for local businesses to expand their own business connections.

Our Speaker Steve Trister

A professional comedy actor with a passion for self development brings his "Performance Dynamite" to Derby.

"I've performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival twice and its where I've had my biggest learnings"

Steve's talk will be about "The Power to Influence". Everyone during their working life will need to influence others, whether it be buying decisions with clients, motivating staff or negotiating with suppliers. How do you inspire people to take action?

Most people can talk about their business, products and services. HOW you deliver the message, according to Steve, is what makes the real difference and motivates them to actually take action.

This very interactive talk will give you some tangible tools and techniques that you can take away and use the very next day!
