About The Evening

This event marks our seventh Cardiff Connections Networking event. Business-Scene regularly run successful Connections events around the UK, bringing together many of the local Business Networking groups under one roof, and offering a great opportunity for local businesses to expand their own business connections.

Joining us for this evening offers you the opportunity to meet other high calibre business delegates, openly network in a relaxed and friendly environment, build strong business relationships and gain valuable information about the issues that most affect your business.

Our Speaker

Mike Hatherall PhD IT Sec, Bsc(Hons), MCSE, MCP, CITP, Net+, Sec+, PGCE, MCT, MCSA

Mike’s career in computers started with the Army in the Intelligence section, later advacing to MI5, here Mike further developed his knowledge on IT Security.

Mike now runs a South Wales based IT Management company and is keen to promote the benefits of IT management and proper security techniques that will ensure SMEs get the most from their IT when needed and will be able to avoid any disruptions to their business that may lead to loss of revenue. This short talk will be invaluable to anyone that thinks a simple firewall and server is all that you need to protect your business and your client’s information.
