What's a Business-Scene Connections Event?

Whether you are new to Networking, or are a seasoned networker, a Business-Scene Connections event will have something for you.

We run regular multi-network Connections events across the UK, and during the course of 2009 expect to run one in each major city plus plenty of large towns in between. In fact, we will run around 75 events per year, ensuring that one is bound to arrive near you soon (if it hasn't already done so).

Here's how they work....

• We find a venue in a major town or city capable of holding several hundred people, with ample car parking, and great facilities;

• We find a local caterer who can come and supply drinks - and sometimes food too!

• We find a speaker;

• We contact local Networking organisations and invite them to partner us at the event;

• We put the event on our website and we invite thousands of local small businesses to come and join us for the evening! 

• You register, and then come along on the evening itself;

Why are they good for my business?

Thanks to sponsorship and established partnerships that we have with a number of great venue owners, we are able to offer these networking evenings at a great price - generally, we ask for no more than £10-£15 for the evening, which includes...

• A welcome drink and sometimes canapes;

• An entertaining speaker who can offer some great business ideas;

• Access to a number of local business network organisations all in the same room;

• Opportunities for open Networking with many local businesses, opening up many possibilities for you to develop new business relationships;

• An option to place a gift into our Goody Bags - every attendee will walk away from the event with a piece of your marketing material in their bag! Prices vary according to the event;

• An option to provide a prize to be raffled off in aid of our chosen local charity - you get a mention when the prize is collected, the charity gain from the raffle monies collected, and the prize winner gets the prize - everyone's a winner!!

• An option to be an event exhibitor - you can have your own stand at the event, increasing your profile even further. Prices vary according to location and size of venue;

Quite honestly, we cannot think of a better value spend of your marketing budget than to attend one of these events. You shouldn't expect to win new business straight away, of course, but you should see the gradual development of some great business relationships develop over time.
