About Business Scene
As Regional Director for Business Scene in the North West I have the responsibility of helping our partners profile and promote their events throughout the region.
For the members, my aim is to help connect, network and promote their business offerings to give them greater connectedness, visibility and business in their local areas.

How much of your business do you do within a thirty or forty mile radius? If you are typical of most SMEs the answer will be the vast majority of it.
Business-Scene gives you the chance to have a web profile, linked to your web site, it keeps you in touch with other companies and individuals with whom you can do deals right on your doorstep. The internet has given us global reach, but for the majority of the UKs 4 million SME businesses this is a distraction when they only need more local contacts and opportunities. Business-Scene provides this localisation. It also provides a comprehensive listing of networking events and the ability to book onto them all on one site. Together with valuable articles and ownloads, clinics, advertising and promotional opportunities there are also a host of other exclusive, valuable member offers.
Business Scene - Helping you raise your visibilty to achieve more local business
'About Me'
I am married to my soul mate Carol whom I met 'hanging her knickers on the line' on a Greek island many years ago, its a long story which I may bore you with one day. We have a beautiful daughter Ruby who is the centre of my universe, she is 6, a magical age of questions, exploration, creativity and development. Becoming a parent somewhat late in life has been an incredible experience - just when you think that you know it all you realise that you know nothing. Both Carol and I are only children so when they sent us home from hospital we ended up sitting in the lounge with Ruby in her car seat in the middle of the floor saying 'what do we do now'. The end that cried is where the food went in and I tried to avoid the other end at all costs!
I am a Director of Egerton House (Wirral) Ltd, which operates a highly successful business centre on the Wirral. Situated in the Birkenhead docklands Egerton House, originally known locally as the Interchange Warehouse, is a stunning building complete with vaulted ceilings and impressive iron colonnades.
We have just launched the Womens Enterprise Suite as part of our encouragement of local business development. If any women in the Merseyside area need a really prestige but low cost base then contact Liz Whaling at Egerton House on 0151 650 0555.
People that I recommend:
Fraser Hay, the marketing mastermind.
Fraser has generated a huge amount of activity around the UK and is a great example of how to make social networking work profitably. He understands the potential and dynamics of online networking and uses it well to promote his products, his company and himself. For that reason alone, check out his profile and his products.
